Mallorca’s Fiesta Season is in full swing

I hope that 2026 has commenced well for you and your loved ones.

As always here in Mallorca, it takes a little while for life to return to normal, as for many the fiestas continue from 24th December right through to 7th January. Our attention immediately turned to the fabulous fiestas of San Antonio and San Sebastian on the 17th and 20th January. We have just enjoyed the fun and colourful parades of Carnival and this extended weekend it is Balearic Day with an array of events in Palma and across the Island! The huge popular market in Palma will have no less than 175 stands celebrating artisan, culture, food and drink. Exhibitions, Open doors, music for all. I love 1st March!

Peak Dates Are Filling Fast for Holiday Rentals

Pollensa Wine Fair – 25th & 26th April

The Pollensa Wine Fair is a very popular event with our guests. It offers an opportunity to taste a variety of quality Mallorcan wines from over 50 bodegas.  This year the event will be held on 25th and 26th April in the town.  Definitely a date for the diary!  Why not check out our availability for a short break!

Motorworld Palma

Located close to Palma Airport, Motorworld is a must-visit for car enthusiasts and an ideal stop if you have time to spare before a later flight. The venue showcases classic and limited edition cars and also includes a restaurant and coffee shop. Entrance is free.

Museu Sa Bassa Blanca

I have been wanting to visit Museu Sa Bassa Blanca for several years.  Finally this autumn I made the trip and thoroughly enjoyed the (optional) guided tour of the house along with wandering around the beautiful grounds and admiring the sculptures.   Perfect for all the family but do take some mosquito repellent!

Food Tours Balearics

Finally, I cannot recommend booking a lunch or dinner experience with Food Tours Balearics enough. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a Saturday afternoon strolling around the historic part of Palma and stopping at 4 different hidden gems. The idea is just fabulous. How often do you want to visit Palma but are overwhelmed by the amazing choice of restaurants and tapas bars? Here you have the opportunity to try 4 different restaurants in one day! 4 courses with a drink in 4 venues. We were warmly welcomed into each venue by the attentive staff and served excellent dishes in each. There are 3 or 4 different routes with a variety of restaurants/bistros/bars.
