Very warm wishes from beautiful Mallorca! I can see that some of you are in the middle of a heatwave and I am sure your thoughts turn to our beautiful sandy beaches, sangria, seafood or maybe the wish for super air conditioning!
A Personal Celebration to Share
Firstly, for those of you who missed the photos on social media I am delighted to share the news that I enjoyed a perfect sunny wedding day full of love and laughter on 3rd May. We got married in a traditional finca in Binissalem which I am delighted to offer for holiday rentals or small events.
Fiesta Season: San Juan, San Pedro & La Virgin de Carmen
After a very unpredictable spring, the temperatures have risen here on the Island, local schools have now begun their 3 months summer holiday and the resorts are thriving with visitors as always. The Islanders continue to welcome you into their properties, restaurants or shops. Popular Puerto Pollensa remains as charming as ever with several new restaurants or bars.
Spain loves to celebrate! Easter parades, 3 Kings, football triumphs, birthdays and of course Saint Days. This month we celebrate San Juan on the 24th June with midnight beach picnics and San Pedro on the 29th June. San Pedro is the patron saint of fishermen and a fabulous fiesta programme can be enjoyed in Port de Alcudia. Puerto Pollensa waits until the middle of July to celebrate La Virgin de Carmen with musical events, cinema on the beach, boat procession and midnight fireworks. All events are loved by locals and visitors of all ages. Keep a look out for the programme which will be released in July.

Coming Soon: Casa Blanca – Waitling List for 2026
We are hopeful that we can obtain a tourist license for this next property in the near future. We will then offer this stunning property, managed by Parasol Property Mallorca, for weekly rentals. I know there will be huge demand so I shall open up a waiting list for 2026. Meanwhile, it is available for monthly rentals from September to March.

Updated Guest Registration Requirements
For those of you travelling to Mallorca this year, you may notice that you are asked for additional personal information on the obligatory guest registrar. This is perfectly correct and in line with advanced Spanish regulations which require your home address, telephone number, email and even the relationship between you and fellow guests. However, you should not be asked to provide a copy of your actual passport or ID. Property adverts will also be displaying a new European Property Rental Registry number (CRU) of around 20 digits from 1st July 2025 in an attempt to crack down on illegal renting and international scams.
A Final Snapshot
When you plan your August 2026 holiday, you may wish to consider that NASA has advised that the Balearic Islands is one of the best locations to potentially view the total eclipse of the sun on the 16th August 2026. Advance bookings for accommodation, restaurants with a view, sunset boat trips etc. are pouring in if social media is to be believed. Quite an opportunity not to be missed.
