It would be easy to think that after living on this beautiful Island of Mallorca for such a long time it is hard for me to feel the `wow factor´ very often. Well, you would be mistaken. I like nothing more than exploring, or more often than not returning, to previously discovered corners of Mallorca, often known as the Isle of Calm. I grab the opportunity to appreciate the crystal clear waters of a tiny bay, a truly delicious paella, admiring the super yachts in a harbour, the almond blossom on the trees, walking along the ragged coastal paths and of course the invitation to add to my portfolio a particularly stunning property.
Just a week ago, I drove to the traditional countryside village of Selva, located close to Inca in the centre of Mallorca. A quiet rural village surrounded by winding country lanes which are so popular with the cyclists who visit Mallorca in the spring. I met Gabriel, the owner who actually built Finca Villa Antonia himself, in the village and proceeded to follow him along a series of narrow lanes, bordered by fruit and olive trees until we arrived at the gates and long private driveway of Finca Antonia. This is where I experienced my first wow of the morning!
Antonia, his wife, greeted me enthusiastically at the entrance hall with its attractive staircase. A glance around the beautifully furnished open plan lounge, hall and dining room whilst listening to Antonia explain that every morning she brought fresh roses, home baked bread and cake I knew that I was visiting a 5* villa offering the very best in customer care and attention. Wow number 2!
This beautiful Mallorcan mansion has been built using natural wood, stone and marble creating a truly relaxed light and airy feel to the property as I walked from room to room and continued with my wows which are far too many to mention.
Three luxurious double bedrooms and one Master suite/Bridal Suite all of which offer stunning en suite bathroom, dressing room, mini bar, safe, flat screen Satelite TV, piped music throughout and private furnished balcony or terrace with wonderful views. A further exterior en suite bedroom is available for a supplement, and this would be ideal for guests travelling with a nanny or au pair.
The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with everything you could imagine and is perfect should you wish to hire your own private chef.
The exterior of the property produces more wows, with the vegetable garden, rose garden, fruit trees, lawns and of course the stunning swimming pool and furnished terrace. From here, as you relax in the sun, you can appreciate the views up to the village which is a short walk away, even though you feel like you are wrapped in your own cocoon of luxury.
This property is available for weekly rental or for private function hire, especially weddings, being able to cater for up to 100 people.
